It’s the day that you get to celebrate with all of your family and friends about marrying the love of your life – and it’s pretty awesome, right? Weddings tend to be full of laughter, overpriced cake, and food and drink that allows your guests to enjoy the little shindig that you meticulously planned for months on end.

While most weddings go down without a hitch, there’s no doubt about the fact that things can sometimes go a little wrong. Amazingly, these hilarious wedding fails were caught on camera for us all to enjoy.

We can’t decide whether this groomsman is the ultimate catch, though. We all know that a bridesmaid often catches the bouquet to note that she’s next on the wedding list, but what does it mean when the groomsman drops the cake in front of the happy couple?

We have a feeling that this happy couple didn’t mean for their pontoon to start sinking in the middle of the lake, but we all know that there’s only room for so many people on these pieces of wood.

SOS

One groom decided to put out a little SOS to his friends and family while in the midst of his vows. Perhaps he was urging them to speak now, or forever hold their peace. We wonder whether he went through with it in the end?

Caught In A Trap

It’s no secret that men often get married for their partners’ sake, and some have even noted that they were caught in a trap when it came to agreeing to get hitched. It seems as though that’s exactly what happened here because this groom got fully trapped in his bride’s veil.

While these wedding guests decided to create a human pyramid to keep themselves busy while the couple was away, they quickly realized that the extra glass of champagne they had drunk probably hadn’t worked in their favor. Soon, they all came tumbling down in one giant heap of limbs.

The whole thing is a little strange, but there’s no doubt about the fact that we’ve never seen a wedding photograph like it. Of course, there is a chance that these people really are centaurs and they made their way onto the beach for a centaur wedding, but we’d say that was highly unlikely.

Instead of opting for the white dress and the penguin suit, these guys decided to give their guests the chance to dress in costume – because that’s exactly what they were going to do. They became Princess Fiona and Shrek, and their nuptials were watched by Minnie Mouse, Captain Jack Sparrow, and a nurse.

When their wedding photographer came around to snap a few pictures of the happy couple, they decided to show off their muscles by striking this pose. The end photo is something truly hilarious, and we’d like to think that these two ordered this photo in the biggest size to stick on their wall.

Must be a bummer to be the bride and still get outshined by your more attractive bridesmaid. The camera man appears to be bored of the distracted bride, and decided to spend his time shooting the person who appreciated the attention more.

Hard to keep your eye on the bride when these three are lined up in the background. With their natural good lucks and stylish matching outfits, it’s hard to blame the guests for wanting more pictures with them instead of the newlyweds.

Sometimes when you get married, your best friend wants to piggyback on your big day, which can end in many ways. Three’s a crowd in this photo-op, and awkwardly it appears this bridesmaid wanted all the attention. They were happy to give her a leg up on the others.

On the rare occasion, though, we do see the bride and groom take a tumble – but this is one of the worst we’ve seen. We’re not quite sure whether this woman fell over or whether her groom decided it would be funny to push her, but it probably wasn’t funny at all.

Although some wedding photographers use real people and real images to create the final photographs, there are others who like to play around with special effects instead. This photographer seems to be one of them. While he could have just left this couple standing next to each other, he instead opted to turn the groom into the bride’s very own genie in a bottle. While there’s no doubt about the fact that it’s unique, we kinda understand why this style hasn’t caught on over the years.

Bridesmaids and maids of honor have a lot of responsibility to uphold on the big day. As if that wasn’t enough, they also need to hold the train of the dress as she walks down the aisle – but this can be pretty difficult if they have to walk outside. This maid of honor couldn’t quite handle this responsibility, mostly because it was way too windy.

We’re gonna go ahead and assume that this wasn’t on his agenda, but he still managed to make a very dramatic entrance with his new wife by falling down some stone steps. In fact, those look like they would seriously hurt you – but he probably knew that he couldn’t show his guests that it hurt him.

These dogs often act as ring bearers, they often walk down the aisle with their moms, and they pose for photos with their newlywed owners. Of course, dogs aren’t the greatest at sitting still – which means that they can be a slight nuisance when it comes to taking these photos. This pug was obviously feeling a little peckish during this photoshoot and just couldn’t ignore the pretty flowers.

When planning their wedding day, many brides like to know that they are going to make an entrance. For her big day, she chose to mount a horse and trot her way to her wedding venue, but what she didn’t quite realize was that she blended into this horse perfectly. While we know that this photo is just a joke, the specifics are all there to make it seem as though it’s totally real. There are blood splatters on the camera, there’s saliva coming out of the groomsman’s mouth, and the ring on the groom’s finger does look pretty intimidating.

We don’t know whether these dogs belong to the couple or their guests, or whether they are just strays who decided to take advantage of the food crumbs making their way onto the floor.
